Ingame time feels too fast
Got the game a few days ago. I haven´t got that far in the story and game progress to experience the past mid game or end game tools and machines but so far I have started a new game a couple of times and all these games I felt like I was struggling in a tight time management game with so many things to do within such short time limit.
Cooking some foods feels like it takes ages while others are too fast and burn to easy/quickly and manage the stove(wood, water and cooking times) with such fast game ticking glues me at the stove waiting for stuff to get ready a lot of times specially making lots of coffee just to get the extra energy to stay awake everyday to be able to do more within the seasons.
Plowing feels too slow for time that goes on process specially hand plowing that even spamming the mouse click we need to wait for the animations to end, it takes so much time between action.
Seeding grain by hand it´s somewhat frustrating, the grid feels somewhat random in shape and to get the 9 squares properly lined up it´s hard to pull off and some of the seeing slots sometimes are detected as barren even though they are plowed leaving holes all over the field. Either by triggering the bug on the plowing or seeding process, not sure but the focus special view(or whatever is called) only shows that issue after the seeding process.
All that together on a middle sized field (and I mean not that big), even with the horse pulling the plow, it takes more than 1 day wich means moret han 1 month to plow and sow not leaving any room for delays on farming.
Is it me or the ingame time in this game flies causing stress and anxiety?!
I know that there is the "Own Rules" option that allows a more layed back experience but it disables the Achievements wich I really like to get them as I play the game.
Fuel feels to get used too fast for the amount of distance/work done wich it´s also connected to how time goes fast.
Judging by how how fast hours go by, a day being a month it definetily feels like a year and Kasimir´s life goes by pretty quickly not leaving that much time to enjoy "his life"/ gameplay available on a single playthrough.
I find plowing with the horse quite fun but it´s hard to "drive" the plow properly on terrains that are not perfectly leveled wich even the slightiest slope makes the plow to slide thus making to miss the follwing lining up or even nullifying any plowing progress on the terrain.
Hunting sometimes also gets on our nerves, what´s going on with the animals jumping and even flying?! Lost quite a few animals after that first shot because they flee and somtimes they just change direction so quickly that we can easily lost sight of them and there is no way to track the "wonded" animal. And those times a sure shot does not hit it at all.
On another note, I wish the game had better performance reaching higher FPS and not freezing so much by loading chunks of the map or whatever t´s causing that.

A long comment already going to leave it here for now.
I am loving the game despite the issues and some bugs I have found along the way and I am yet to experience the end game content but I honestly wish I had time(ingame time) to go through one that first playthrough feeling relaxed having enough time to do everything and read everything calmly without the feeling of being on the rush all the time due to the tight scheadule on managing the farming, production, cooking, questing, exploring and deliveries/selling.

Anyone willing to comment on my thoughts please feel free to do that but please keep it friendly and constructive.

Thank you for this extensive and constructive feedback.

Initially, the game was supposed to let the players live the entirety of Kasimir's life in a reasonable timespan, that's why day = month.

It was also designed to let you see how it feels like to try running a farm all alone. But we also added land plots and.. players felt obliged to expand their farms and attempt impossible. That's why this mistake evolved into "start new AI farms by fully upgrading the plots" idea.

As for the rest of the issues I stored this post to read carefully later.

Early on work IS frustrating and slow. That is why you need to scale only when your equipment permits.

And practice helps. Horse plow is IMO only useful for small fenced out area in the farm and that does not take whole day to plow.

As you add machines to your farm it permits expanding. Thoug first thing to buy should be shredder (IIRC) to make fodder.

But 3 blade plow, digger and seeder make life much easier.

For food, my advice is to mark down cooking time and burning time for different power settings on stove.

Once you have those written down, you can start fire and male it last long enough to cook things but not burn them.

Which permits you to leave stove unwatched and return to completed food. Coffee cooks so fast on full power it can be boiled while watching. It was something like 6-8 game minutes.

Sugar, mash etc cook for about 2 hours and then take another couple hours to burn so you can set and forget.
I'm ok with all ruca said. The game is good but fast time is very frustrating. We cannot take time to make things quietly, always run, why?
each work animation is too long, so we lose time.

Is this game will be update or is it finish? thanks
I thought so myself at first too but over 100 hours later I realize why they went with 1 day months cause it becomes so easy to make money eventually and there really is nothing to spend it on ya know :steamhappy:

No update for longer than a month and "the game is dead" :)
From my perspective the game is very much alive (bug reports still coming in), both sales and player counts seem stable. No decline in sight so far.
We are working hard on the next thing, but there are multiple delays along the way.

Good to hear things are going well.
I admit having been worried sales would be lagging.
