Problem with tractor race against Stan

I once raced with Stan but the tractor broke down in middle. Right in a swing with posts. Meaning that when I try race him again there is no way any of us can get past it. Anyone knows what to do then ?

Repair the tractor?

Remove the tractor from the race track.
Try repairing it and use fast travel (if it's stuck).
Or use Tekla's finding service and Thadeus recovery service.

- Sorry, I explained that very poorly. I was driving in his tractor and now it blocks the patch for us. I cant enter it and cant repair it. I have tried to smash into it also but it wont move at all

I'm not sure I understand exactly what's gone wrong for you. You said you were driving in his tractor? How?

I know Stan is dreadful for getting jammed on your tractor - either getting the wheels locked or shoving you sideways (I always reload and try again when that happens), but if you wait awhile the game should (eventually) say that Stan has won (even when he's stuck trying to ram you) and he (and his tractor) should disappear again. If this isn't happening, maybe you should send your save file to the developer so they can figure out what's happened?

I've found the trick for winning the race is to get in front of Stan straight away, then he sort of pushes you forward if he gets too close.

Let me try explain again.. I tried race him early in the game. Before I owned my own tractor. I race in the one you can get later on. But in the race he smashed into me. Then the race ended and his red tractor now stranded there. In the middle of the swing. So now when I try race him again we cant get pass it.

I had hoped bartiss could help me (think he is a developer).. I have tried to send a bug report as well::

YES !! Thats exactly what happend ! It would be so cool if it could be fixed so I can complete the rest of the game. I freakin love it ;)

I did get your save file.
I had to modify it and send it back to you. It cannot be easily fixed in the game itself.
I've just sent the new save file back to you. But... if you've been playing the game in the meantime it means we'll need to repeat this procedure using your latest save file.

I found the keys to the tractor in advance and now I'm stuck in the mission to get the new tractor where it tells me to find the keys.... I have them in my inventory but it doesn't consider them.... What should I do?

As with many other quests you should try to drop it on the ground and pick up again. So the game reacts to "picking up event". Also make sure you have the right keys as there are keys to the tractor and keys to Stan's workshop.
