Surviving without killing animals
Hi! I wonder wether you can survive in this game without killing animals, no hunting and butchering the farm animals.

Well you can buy meat and bread and you can live on scrambled eggs so yes you can get by without hunting. I seem to remember a quest early on which teaches you how to use a gun, not sure if you can bypass that one,

There are a couple you cannot avoid, but a long as you dont do it accidentally you dont have to do much killing
Butchering you cannot avoid, as if the animals die there is no other method of disposal

Actually, you can survive like that but it means some of the quests will be left not completed.
(Several NPCs' tasks require you to hunt something.)
The marriage questline requires a boar, too.
AFAIR the main questline doesn't ask you to kill anything, so you'll be able to finish the game and keep playing.

If your animals are close to dying (1-2 months left), take them to the state farm and sell them to the animal vendor. You'll get a little money back and don't have to deal with butchering them. If you forget and they die, though, you have to butcher them. I don't know if they just despawn after a while on their own?
