advice for a new/beginner player
hello , so i bought the game yesterday i haven't started it but to fully enjoy it i will need your advice if you have time :)
what are the recommendations for the first 10 hours of play?
and for the rest of the game, do you have any advice or tips for the game to go well?
I don't want any glitches, but I want to push the realism to the max and make it difficult/challenging.
i'm brand new to this kind of game, it's my first farm/agriculture/hunting/livestock game etc...
thank you very much :)
(sorry my english its bad)

Get a rooster so your chickens can multiply. There is a machine from tractor vendor that allows you to make your own fodder out of anything, including grass. Moonshine is great to work on in the winter when you huddled inside your house by the fire that's why my moonshine production is in the kitchen. Also build yourself lots of storage crates and the storage in your basement (the dugout) preserves anything so it does not spoil when spring comes.

Don't sell all the junk
Start growing with five seeds/[potatoes in the first year
Go to all the locations asap regardless of having little money
Search around all the derelict properties
Dont worry about the quests they are not urgent

The only other thing I would say is that fruit crops are a good long term investment but a bug means your crop fails fairly regularly so wait until you have a couple of larger crops under your belt before you commit to it, You won't get entire fields of things easily unless you are keen to spend a lot of time on wheat and oats, which gets tired fairly fast. It is more of an animal trading kind of farm. I have got around it by having low care, high value animals like horses and sheep and a large apiary, but some people prefer the graft involved in preparing trailer loads of crops, I got tired of it after about five years and he didnt need quite as much money although if you are good at animal trading you make just as much doing that and the side products are useful.
I am still not all that thrilled about getting married but the people that did say it was worth the time, I was more interested in the variety of ways to make a living and how much spare time it left him for quests, and I would say your number one is probably the honey, it just isnt regular enough, so once you are at the tractor/trailer stage buy at least two trailers and keep one at the sawmill so that you dont have to take the tractor every time. It is probably best played as a market garden rather than a farm, although land availability is great.

Tobacco once you get the crafting table can make a good penny from my playtime. Save manure for a mushroom farm. Use grass as compost. As quickly as you can, get the workbench to save you money on tools. Most tools only require a few sticks to repair. Key word is most. December go to the priest in town and do the Xmas light quest to get a small amount of goodies. Warm tea is the best overall drink for the player as it removes and temporally prevents the cold status. Don't plant most crops after noon in September. Don't plant Wheat or Oats after July. You can replant trees buy getting new ones from the lumber mill, NOTE they are very expensive.

This is meant to be an overall relaxing game. Some min max is nice but overall, just take it easy. Plant what you want to plant.

Rooster is good idea, but cutter requires good bit of money which you likely will not have and engine which also costs.

Before you can invest in those, animal seller does sell hay driers. They are little stick pyramids where you can toss cut grass to dry. Hay is more filling than grass and does not rot. Once you have money for engine and cutter those are must have.

And go to Ann's farm which is roughly north of your farm. Tells there has missions to grow some crops and gives you some initial seeds.

Early on hunting can be good addition for food and money, but remember to carry your prey home to butchering table in the barn. Later you should use traps for passive hunting.

When I start a new game I get as soon as possible a rooster for my chickens an build a chicken coop. Furthermore I do hunt for cash. Doing quests gains you money and gets you further in the game. Meanwhile you can plant potatoes and other stuff like sugar beets. When you can make alcohol you can sell all but 1 for 110 coins. Then you buy a machine and automatic crusher so you can make your own fodder (cost inexpensive) grass is cheap, fodder costs money :) Ohyea, pluck the berries etc from the bushes in the forest. Save the materials so you can build stuff yourself, build a workshed asap so you can repair your stuff cheaply.
