Where Can I find these Ive searched all the boxes in the church and on the outside am I missing it or is it bugged?

Look around the church. The box is hidden in various places, not only by the church itself. Use the Vision and scout around the church. It's there.

i could never find them either plus there were no xmas trees anywhere until 2 saves later the xmas trees appeared and the decorations are next to the chest by the graves

the decorations are in a cardboard box, usually stashed outside the church, most times on the rocks behind the church, can also be on the church roof. Bring a ladder anyways, you will need it to decorate the village tree. Have "fun". Damn this mission was frustrating to no end on my first run with it. I appreciate the effort to entertain us players, but... I was so happy when this stuff was over...

The mission repeats every year :) But it's also optional. Just ignore it if you don't like doing it.

What are the "lamps" for?
Are they Lanterns or Light bulbs?

sometimes it respwan on the roof of church. u should take your ladder

Once I found a box on the rocks behind the church, near the forest. Another time the box was on the roof of the church, you had to bring a ladder and walk along the roof to the goal. In the search for jewelry, the "master's eye" will help you - highlight objects with the Z key

I found the box difficult to find, and failed the first year, but it was really nice when I did manage to complete it! I think it's a lovely quest. :)

but I did not know how to illuminate the Christmas tree in the market on the corner just behind the bully Henry
