Will Python be supported?

I really like screeps but I would also prefer to use Python instead of javascript. Is this a feature that will be supported in screeps arena?

I'm pretty sure the game will run only javascript in the end, but you will probably be able to program your code in python and translate it to javascript to run it in the game

the api will probably be similar to the screeps mmo so something like https://github.com/daboross/screeps-starter-python will probably work .)

there won't be native support. you can only hope to cross-compile.

Hard to imagine leaving Python out as it is so accessible and so many people know it or are learning it.

Why would this be different now? The choice of language is determined by whatever backend is used(in this case its node.js)
It's either javascript, or languages that compile to either JS(typescript), or wasm
