Love, Death and Cordona - Need Help

I got stuck at the case "Love, Death and Cordona" and have absolutely no clue how to proceed with the "Sign of the Eagle" evidence. It says that I have to pin it and interact with people surrounding me. Well, I spent more than five hours with asking people while wearing different outfits but still no success. The last thing I did was spying on a conversation at the "Old City Marketplace". I hope someone here could help :-)

Im on the same thing, it says i need to look for blood to find the person who got hurt, i found the blood but theres no trail to follow and concentration vision does nothing, now it says to go meet jailan but gives no details as to where except at dawn entrance with no eagle. The symbol doesnt say to ask people it says use the right disguise which is not the issue. Im not sure what the sign of the eagle evidence is, did u get that from the navy barracks?

Nevermind i found it, the knife was sitting in the freaking pillars of knives, apparently the guy just stopped bleeding and showed no path. After that it gave me sign of eagle, i talked to the first person dressed in ottaman attire and it told me to go to the house of the eagle which is left of the old city market.

I think I can help you with that. You have to take a look at the pillar with the knives sticking out of it. That's right next to the spot where the rope ends. You will find a knive with an emblem of an eagle and some blood on it there. Thet's quite close before the point where I got stuck...

Oh okay you found it. The next thing I did was listening to a conversation on the city market and after that I had no clue what to do. The only new evidence was that they let nobody in the house...

Did you find the letter and stuff in the barracks telling u what disguise to wear and how to get in?

the barracks is right across from the pillar, north of it from the blood. u need to go in with the navy officer suit u got from inside the tower. There u can find some important info , im still trying to get the disguise right to get into the eagle house, i think its right i just have to wait for the exact time, if u cant find it lemme know ill screen shot.

Thank you so much I finally found it... The casebook was so incredibly misleading at this point. There was not really clue leading to the barracks

I believe it said "maybe the soliders are talking about it around the barrcks" i assumed that it had to be near by because that was a fort kinda structure but yea wasnt the best lead.

Yeah, the earlier part of the quest says the soldiers are in a house they've commandeered.
Then the dialogue shifts to call it the "barracks," despite the fact that it still is an ordinary looking house.

A heads up that the "Muse" case does a similar thing by giving overly vague hints. When trying to enter a certain house, you are tasked with getting a new disguise and Sherlock says you need to look like a certain class of citizen. After a half dozen failed tries with various clothing I found out that you don't need to look like his type of citizen- you need to look exactly like a character who lives there, and only through chance did I find that clothing vendors had new specific items in their inventories.

Thanks, i found that one out too, it could have made a better hint but oh well.

I have a different problem with this quest in that I was accepted into the eagle house by the servant, but the quest NPC I'm there for never shows up. Came back several times and looked at the case book for the current time of day until it was dawn, nothing.

Not sure you need to meet her, i found the bloody clothes and then i found the killer in the courtyard.
