Did you find the letter and stuff in the barracks telling u what disguise to wear and how to get in?
I believe it said "maybe the soliders are talking about it around the barrcks" i assumed that it had to be near by because that was a fort kinda structure but yea wasnt the best lead.
Yeah, the earlier part of the quest says the soldiers are in a house they've commandeered.
Then the dialogue shifts to call it the "barracks," despite the fact that it still is an ordinary looking house.
A heads up that the "Muse" case does a similar thing by giving overly vague hints. When trying to enter a certain house, you are tasked with getting a new disguise and Sherlock says you need to look like a certain class of citizen. After a half dozen failed tries with various clothing I found out that you don't need to look like his type of citizen- you need to look exactly like a character who lives there, and only through chance did I find that clothing vendors had new specific items in their inventories.
Thanks, i found that one out too, it could have made a better hint but oh well.
The disguise includes the scarf found on the corpse, treated with chemical analysis.
I have a different problem with this quest in that I was accepted into the eagle house by the servant, but the quest NPC I'm there for never shows up. Came back several times and looked at the case book for the current time of day until it was dawn, nothing.
What outfit did you use to get in? Do i need to wait till dawn to even get in?
The outfit consists of 3 parts:
- Female Ottoman outfit
- Ottoman headscarf
- Silk scarf (the blue/silver one with the Eagle, as recovered from Mark Ridley's body and cleansed in the inventory with chemical analysis.
I first arrived at the servants' entrance after I was done at the barracks, shortly after midnight, and the servant let me in. I looked around, but no Jailan there to greet me. Reloaded and tried again, still no NPC. Waited around for in-game hours in the courtyard until dawn, but nobody showed even though the sun was up again.
I hope you have better luck.
Not sure you need to meet her, i found the bloody clothes and then i found the killer in the courtyard.
