번역 관련 문제 보고
The initial portraits from your observations of these characters tend to go either way; they're only confirmed after the case is solved - so I suppose it's one way to deem the game re-playable.
All of those "characterizations" "hardly matter", is actually what everyone is saying. :)
Here is what they do. In some cases, they DO matter, allowing you a certain outcome only, if you pick the correct one. (Beehive gang case is one such example.)
In all cases they slightly alter the dialog the "characterized" is speaking (in the next main story case, you can pick between "businessman or crimelord". And if you pick businessman, there will suddenly be bussiness man dialoglines in the voice lines following, if you pick crimelord, they wont be there, probably not to conflict with your choice too much. :)
In most cases the characterizations dont matter. With Paul, she really is, or can be both, she is driven, she wins, she bets on herself, ... but then she also smuggles. So what is her defining characteristic? You decide. :) The final purpetrator can be chosen independantly anyhow.
Although in this case - as well as in the next main story one, the "best" outcome is not clear at all. Search for Paul in this forum, and you should find a thread going through the information in this case as thoroughly as possible. Its still hard to impossible to choose the purpetrator.
The next main story quest will be similar. :) (You actually know the purpetrator(s), but the decision you are making to end the case is not clear cut at all.)
But maybe we are missing something, and there is a strand of clues sometimes, that only show themselves, if you pick correctly. :) Probably not though - and this is just "emotional padding your shoulder" for "having chosen right" most of the time, by changing dialogue.
OR, the changing dialog is actually the "characterized" playing along, hoodwinking Sherlock. :)
Endless options (possibilities) no clear effects on outcome, most of the time.. :)
