Fish never get tired !

Sturgeon in Russia never tire out . The only way to land one is by catching a small one and just jacking the drag to 100 , or by glitching it to land it . I am not going to explain that here . But I caught a 934 pound one by using the glitch . Any fish over IDK 4-500 pounds . You can only get it to 47 feet out and it takes the line back out 300 feet . There is no way to stop it . You can not turn it , lift it or apply drag . For 42 minutes on this last one I had drag at 96 , lifting and reeling nonstop . It can not be landed . I stayed on it just to see if for whatever reason you have it programmed to take 2 hours to catch a fish . I can not see that . I am using the 200 pound tackle ! It is not my machine . I am running a 3080 ftw and I have tried my brothers machine with a 4080 suprim . It is this game !

I think I figured this one out . I switched all my points into the other skill tree . Now I can land them . And it takes me like 2 minutes . Without that skill , I can not tire them even after 30 minutes of fighting it .

Could you be more specific? As we are trying to figure that out .

The skill tree has those skills that make the fish get tired faster . If you do not have those skills , you can not land the big fish . I had all my points in the skill tree that gives money bonuses . Once I saw I could reset my skills , I went all the way intro the other tree with eagle eye and tire fish skills . Basically the fish are too strong if you do not have those skills equipped . I have went back in and gotten a 4+ , a 5+ and another 900 lb sturgeon and all 3 I landed within 3 minutes . It has to be those tire fish skills that making that happen .

The skill is called strongman in the abandon tree . You have to have both the 5% and 10% strongman to land the bigger fish .

That was not it ! I went back in and hooked maybe a 1k lber because it was big , but there was sturgeon twice that size on the bottom as I fought it . So roughly 1k lbs and I could not land it again , no matter what . The more I fought it , the more it pulled away . I was not the only one in there having this issue . 2 more people in chat were complaining saying wtf is going on . I have been on this fish for 30 minutes + . In the same room , as this is happening , one player got a 2031 lb sturgeon and another got a 1481 lber back to back . I give up .

We know issue with fish stamina. We listed them in newest update. It need more research from us as whole code is from old developer who was fired.

Same issue . Hooked into a tiger . After 1 hour , I can not turn the fish or lift the fish or reel it in past 450 feet . So , I still can not catch the fish !

Yes sir . But , that was the first I hooked into . I went back in and just got a 900 lb grouper and a few 400 lbers np . They took 5-9 minutes . I remember reading around 15 minute fights , maybe I just had a realllly big one on , did not seem that big . So , that was just that 1 tiger shark . The rest seem good , nj actually .

i think the problem I am having at location 4 is the shark is too big maybe to bring it out of the water . Could that be possible ? I clearly wore this last one out after a long fight . I just can't land it . I have tried everything I can think of . I will try on the boat again next . I ran along the coast line and tried to get it out at around 7 different spots seeing if maybe it was getting stuck on the rock shelf . It just came to 13 feet down 34 feet out each time before back out to between 150-250 feet . The big groupers I can land all along that ledge . Just not the tiger sharks .

I got a 1k lb shark at location 4 in 5 minutes . So it is just the really big ones . Something else that may or may not matter . At location 4 , if you look out at the first big rock structure out there . If I hook a big tiger , the ones I can not tire after an hour , it always swims to the right of that big rock out there and gets stuck at the bottom . As you reel it in , it just slides up the rock about 20 feet , gets stuck and starts to go into the red like it is about to break things , then kinda snaps free and the shark dives back to the bottom . You can repeat this every time you hook one from that location . I tried to walk to the right and pull it off the structure but it is stuck to it . All the ones I have landed , never do that . Just the really big one . My own personal jaws apparently , lol .

All my large fish fights so far I have not been able to land because they keep unhooking them self ... and why does realistic mode not have skills ..

i think its random because i had the strongest possible setup availible in the game and one sturgeon was 1,100lbs took me about 5 minutes to catch .... and then the next fish was 630lbs, took me about 20 minutes to catch and it damaged both my rod and reel ...

the trick is not to cast too far away because once you hookup you want to horse that fish in as soon as possible before it starts fighting like an unstoppable beast

I agree . I have a few 1500+ pound fish , I got one in 2 seconds , literally . Then I get a 4-500 lb fish and it is epic . 2 things I have noticed . Pulling on the rod does nothing to these epic fish . I can pull on a 1k lb shark and it will turn or lift . But then other times I can not budge a 400 lb tuna . And once they get to deep , you will never get them out . I think it is around 20 feet , not sure . Seems once they can dive below that , they never come back . The more you try , the harder , deeper and farther they dive until they are taking more line than I have equipped . I can tell within 1 minute now if I need to hit q and re cast . All I have to do is fight them on 96 a few seconds , stop reeling until they stop and flip the drag to 100 . If they instantly dive and take off without reeling or touching the rod , I hit q , waste of time .

I have the skill that is supposed to tire fish out faster yet spending 45 minutes trying to real in a fish with the highest test strength rod and real set on the castor salt water reals. then go back at it after fixing it and making sure i have the best loadout to use. After fighting for another 30 minutes heres a short set of 9 30 second vids on what i'm doing and the fact that the fish kept going out to over 700ft from me according the info in the lower right. and could never get it to under 200ft. My mouse hand gets tired before the fish do. and it is super frustrating to say the least. And never get the fish and have to repair your real / rod/ and line.
