Lures for BIG fish ?

Wich lure do you use for get that very big fish in Kiel channel ?

Any on the higher end lures work.. it just depends what lvl you are and what you can purchase in the store. I am having good success with Mackerel K15

Lure: Bainer 105S @ 20-24% speed reel set, drag at 20%-40%. Straight Retrieve @ pt5 facing the boat, or pt3 aim for the far side of the bridge or mid way. Gives a solid mix of Sturg, Salmon, Wels, Trout & Cod. (Got me into the top 100 in rankings for Sept.). (I was also using the L30 gear, rod, reel, line)

Bait: #4 or #5 hook with leeches for the big Wels. (takes more time). (Snagged this tip from someone else on here).

ProTip: if the fish aren't biting on either that lure or leeches, increase/decrease yer speed and or drag by single digits during retrieval until u get a hit. It's like the game waits for a specific window of equipment conditions/settings.

One more tip... Also always make sure you're using level appropriate Fishing Line. If you are using line that's like 5+ levels under your level, the Wels seem to bite at a much lower rate (which seems unrealistic). So try to keep up with your character's level with regards to line level when gearing out.

dont think line matters at all can catch a .50 fish on a 30kg line after lvl 40 lines are 10 levels below u atm i dont think it matters what u use cept the lure sizes / hooks baits
