If you don't mind me asking, how many people do you have on your team working on this project?
We are a small team - 5 people.
the one thing this world is missing is a Good fishing game, and what I mean by that is one with connections to your gear.
Boats should be Bought with pride with many customization options like Trolling motor, fish/GPS finders, Color, Motor, brand, size etc etc etc. This is really something that every fishing game is missing.
Your boat should in essence become your "home" & Storage. Types of boats for specific types of fishing and things like that.
Something else they are missing is a trophy room. I would love the ability to invite a friend over to my place to view my most prized catches mounted.
obviously the fishing needs to be good but there is so much that could actually be added to a fishing game.
Imagine starting off with an old truck and a jon boat to work your way up to deep sea fishing or better lake boats and better vehicles where you can have the option to drive to the lake and launch your boat.
Us IRL fisherman are really passionate about our sport. You can see this with all the features we want to add simply because a new technique, tool, or gadget can significantly save you time and effort; going from shore/bank fishing to kayak to boat has a huge dramatic effect on our success. I can imagine that your task list is probably taller than the building your team is currently occupying; I don’t envy you. I feel confident enough that your team can and will create an excellent game that you can continue to build onto indefinitely. We’ll be happy to support you in doing it, so long as it isn’t on EA levels of micro-transactions. I'm excited to see the final product, I don't care how long it takes, IMO (I still own the first game and MOSTLY love it).
Yeah I'm with you 100%. This kind of attention to detail would separate the joes from the pros. I hope it's on this level of quality they are aiming for but as with everything, it's going to take some time.
Will the team increase Raintek for this game?? I hope you can allocate more staff members to this game we badly need a fishing game like this.
