[Suggestion] A Real Fishing Controller
For the longest time when playing fishing games I have always envisioned being able to use an actual 'Rod' fishing controller that gave force feedback when playing to give extra realism. I think this is the biggest let down of any fishing game to date.

Would this be something you may be able to look at as a company for the game? My thinking is you could use either auto powered gyroscopes or hydrolics to give true force feedback of the fish fighting on the line. Obviously from a research and development point of view this is quite a big thing, and I know is something that is really out there as far suggestions go. But damn would it make it a good game, and even better in a VR envrionment.

Hey Mi7spike. How is your topic not the #1 post being discussed! Best fishing game ever wast the fricking PS1 game with the fish rod controller. How does no one get that? I don't care about the graphics or how detailed the fish models are. me and my best friend, kicking back on the couch, casting, reeling, fighting a fish. it was the best. and that was like 25 years ago. How can, in this day and age, can we not have a cool wireless fishing controller with a reel and feedback, and me and any buddy on the internet, cruise to a epic lake, chill on our separate comfy chairs and have a day of fishin? I just don't get it. maybe we need our own kick starter (not that I know what that means) but it seems so obvious to me.

Rapala Pro Bass Fishing 2010
Bass Pro Shops: The Strike

Both apparently had XBox 360 rods (USB), so they could totally be used in Windows 10.
Never actually seen either in real life tho. :)

You can customise Switch controllers to work like a fishing rod too - no idea if that would work on PC though. https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/61%2BtzDVjtWL._AC_SL1500_.jpg

And I know from experience that Oculus controllers let you simulate the action of both casting and reeling in.

It's not the 'action / motion' of casting / reeling in I am after (Yes VR does this already), it's the actual power and feel of the fight.
