Stuck, on bathrooms

I've visited every person, been everywhere as far as I can tell, but I haven't found anywhere to learn or buy sinks and showers. I can't finish work on the motel until I find a way to obtain these items it seems.

You have to book in a guest first at the motel then it gives you them from the shark nearby.

I won't let me invite a guest because they all require a minimum of hygiene 1, meaning a bathroom as I understand it. I can't make a functional bathroom until I have the bathroom props, which I can't find/buy or craft.

Weird it allowed me to and then that's when the items unlocked from the shark. They all had hygiene requirements too so I don't know why it won't let you.

No, you don't need to have a bathroom to book them. You book them and the next dialogue after you book them + complete the quest unlocks the bathroom stuff.

This threw me off too XD I wandered around trying to figure out where to get bathroom blueprints until I decided to just book them and let them be slightly unhappy. And immediately bathrooms.

No. You can build the bathroom before they arrive.

Yeah, as stated, once you book the first guests into the motel without bathrooms, you'll get access to the bathroom gear. You can complete the bathroom before the guests arrive, however it does seem to still be somewhat bugged as my guests complained about the lack of bathroom, even though it was there.

Dang it. I booked someone into the hotel, and the shark said the bathroom blueprints were available in Pawn Voyage, but it's still empty :( I'll try a log off/log on to see if it jogs it!

Hello! Some quests will straight up teach you the blueprints right away, so you'll find them in the Crafting menu already (that's the popup with an individual item) and some quests will unlock further options in the PV blueprint shop, that you have to buy and learn yourself.

So when in doubt, check the Crafting menu if they're not there already! If not, lemme know and we'll get that bug report rolling!

AH HA! I had been taught by the first blue prints to look for them at the Pawn Voyage van. It didn't occur to me that the second time you got blueprints it would work differently... :grimace: Thanks for the tip! I'm back on track!
