Here is a little of what you need to get started.

This is what has worked for me. For now, don't worry about a shotgun. The game needed to take with the shotgun is somewhat fast. You need to focus on the big stuff to get you some cash. You may start out with a rifle with a .270 cal, but can't remember. That's ok. If you can try to start out with something at lest a .308 cal. This is has some good stopping power. A 30-06 cal. is better though.. I would sell the game you bag and to gain cash first. You can get trophies later on. Get some cash and grab the back-pack where you can have several Items and (2) guns. From there grab (2) Callers, deer and elk. From there get the lever action 30-30 cal. Here you can go into Colorado and start bagging the Game when you have the license for the big boys. The .270 cal. has ok stopping power, but it has the range. The 30-30 cal has the stopping power but lacks the range. You can use the .270 cal. to hit the game at some distance and if you have to track them, you can finish them with the 30-30 cal. when you get close enough. the 30-30 cal. is good up to 100 yds. If Hunter 2 goes by real world specs.

I spent less than 500 on a moose tag. Made over 4k off my first moose and bought the .308 sporting rifle. 20 round magazine is great.

But will it give you a free puppy like HS2 does??? Free puppy or it's a no go.
