Is why, when i'm closer to an animal, i'll call my dog to me, and let him 'Stay', so he not scare the animal again. Of course they should change this in the dog's information, it's very misleading, or the dog need some kind of update (same for other dogs their information and specialties etc)..
When I encounter fresh tracks or the dog finds some, I order the dog to follow the tracks, so I can simply go behind the dog without paying attention to the ground. Also I use the certain caller for the animal periodically. When the animal responds, I order the dog to come over and stay down and then I deal with the animal on my own.
Not sure how the barking is supposed to work in the game but now it just scares the animal away.
It loses the track every 10 seconds and then when you do find something it just scares it off!
It's better just leaving it behind and running around until you get a call, then using callers to bring em in.
I'll persevere with it.
Thanks for the info :)
