Ballistics and long-range shooting

Recently I've heard and seen a lot of unjustified comments in reviews, forums and youtube videos about non-existing ballistics, that you can't shoot for more than 200 m, that bullet hits the target up to 200 m where you aim and if the target is too far the bullet just disappears after 200 m and other loads of bull feces.

I assume most of those people are just haters or trolls. Here is the screenshot of my recent animal, desert bighorn sheep:

As you can see it was shot from 431 m and to hit I had to make corrections for bullet drop. Just had to post it to shut up some annoying people.

Wow, congrats, that's the farthest shot I've seen in the game. The target is the largest one but still looks impressive.

i used .243 hunter 85 rifle,not automatic .223))))
