Its a hunting game, why would multiplayer be a required thing? A lot of people irl go hunting alone.
I am not saying its not nice to have for players that enjoy it, but I don't think its a must have in a hunting game; like it would be e.g. in a squad based fps shooter.
You are kind of missing my point, I am not advocating against multiplayer in any game, all I am saying is if the developers focus solely on single player in a hunting game, its not the end of the world and the game would still be perfectly enjoyable for the majority of players who want to do some virtual hunting.
I don't get the attitude of 'if you dont want it' it does not affect you, just play alone. So now we can't have a civil discussion or express opinions about multiplayer without getting into a flame war?
Without it, I'll throw it on the wishlist and pick it up on sale.
Now, let's imagine you are getting ready to take a once in a lifetime shot at a rare 67 point buck, now just as you pull the trigger, bubba, your online MP friend beside you sees a rabbit look at him funny and unloads his shotgun.
Bubba misses the rabbit, and that rare, once in a lifetime 67 point buck runs off and gets eaten by a grue.
Now how much do you want MP?
