New Levels/DLC?
I'm unsure if this was a topic already.. But with all the rage from the new satisfying games I was curious if there was going to be anything added to the game like another storyline? Or maybe even a DLC? Thanks! :)

We really appreciate all of your love for Unpacking, it truly warms our hearts that the game has resonated with folks in this way. But we do want to gently clarify: Unpacking has not been left to rot—it is a complete game, and finished, and one that we are incredibly proud of. While we agree there's potential to tell some fantastic stories with the mechanics of Unpacking, this is not something the team wishes to pursue at this time. We are looking forward to working on new games moving forward. Thank you so much for understanding. :piggyplush:

Hi there! We don't currently have plans to make additional content for Unpacking. We're really happy with the arc of the game as it stands—it's not the biggest story, but we wouldn't want to keep going with it as we quite like where things finish up! :piggyplush:

i second this!! the current unpacking was about a girl leaving her home and having a bad first relationship before finding ''the one'' and building a family with them. There should definitely be an unpacking 2 where there's either a variety of houses that can be unpacked (such as games like powerwash or house flipper) or another story that could involve a happy family they move into a house together, maybe the family goes through hard times in the relationship where the house is messy and the main character tries to clean the mess at some point, could result in a divorce where you go from a big house to a smaller house or condo with one parent, then help the other parent with their condo, one of the parents does well and finds someone else and moves into a super big house, the other parent can do poorly and move into a smaller apartment, that same parent could then start doing better and move into a cozy home, the main character (probably one of the children) could also either move after to their own place with their siblings, could grow up and have multiple houses because of a change of jobs, could also retire and go live in a cottage, get a second cottage in a warmer place during the winter....... the possibilities are endless. unpacking is a wonderful game and i fully agree with the devs for wanting to keep it this way, but an Unpacking 2 with more content definitely should be considered because there are endless possibilities and many players would definitely play!!! (sorry for the paragraph <3)

just here to say that I agree that another game or DLC/s with new stories but with the same gameplay concept would be awesome.

even just having a free play mode where we can decorate and design the houses would be awesome. I know it's not sims, but having that freedom would be a blast.

I can play this over and over but there is a boredom limit. Anew story of the exact same style would be awesome. :coolstar2022:
