Review Unpacking: Completionists Dream...falls short.
Pros:
-Aesthetically Pleasing
-Uniqueness in game play
-Nostalgic
-Musically Pleasing
-Challenging
-Each level has much to do
-No time restraints!

Cons:
-Lack of placements
-Very specific items in specific locations
-Same items feels lackluster
-Skipped years (I was personally excited to go to 1998...)
-Lack of wall room in multiple levels
-Very Very short
-Not enough game play I feel to charge $19.99

Suggestions/Bugs/Comments:
Bug:
Found only one so far in the 2 hours I have played:
*A picture in the 4th chapter cannot be hung on the peg board (which is where it is supposed to go; do to the fact there were tacks on the picture to hang) it required to put it away in a cabinet...weird placement.
Suggestions:
-Implement more of a breakdown of items ( jewelry box/ jewels, refrigerator/ food)
-Breakdown of items will add more to game play (more time more customers will want to spend)
- Do not skip years! Do the research behind the years and add items that were popular/a fad of that year to show every one of your customers a nostalgic feeling!
-Worst con of the game is the fact I cannot items where I want to....there should not be any wrong moves for the most part...this takes from you wanting to be unique...(example: I wanted to put the stuffed animals under the desk and/or tables and I had to make sure they were up somewhere. I feel if it is as simple as a decor item it should be able to be placed anywhere you want without any penalty to move to the next level.
-Freedom is key I believe...yes there are items that need to be in certain places (spoons in kitchen) but as far as decorations (for example the sand rake decor which could only be put in the living room) should be able to be placed anywhere...
Comments:
Great job to the devs with this game! All and all it is an amazingly fun and addicting game! Aesthetically and Nostalgically on key point! It really put me back in 90's and the 00's! I do wish for 19.99 there were more levels of game play and more customization with objects since these are "your" spaces. But this one is an 8/10 for me so far and I hope to see DLC one day...maybe a full 90's pack or decade pack!

You missed the point on why the picture can't go on the pegboard, it is part of the story why the main character doens't want to place it there. Also years are skipped because they show the year the character moved to a new home. They don't always change homes every year!

years are passed because you dont move every year do you?? besides some item tell important part of the story thus cant be put anywhere!! as to the game lenght i too felt like it was too short but it covered the story that needed to be said so. you can unlock 'dark star' mode tho, which differs the story slighty by choosing new album and putting things where they shouldnt be!! its pretty fun :DD also i believe there is an option that lets you put things anywhere you want in the normal mode in the settings :))

I think a 90's moving company game where you pack peoples items and move them to their new home and unpack would be amazing! Being able to see other homes, and other ways of living...I think I am on to something!
