[Spoilers] Significant Details
In this thread we can post all the details we met in the game and what we think they mean. Some are obvious, others less maybe.

The rainbow socks = hint about LGBT and life with another woman.

The fact that we cannot hang the diploma in level 4 is the reddest flag of all (together with the fact that the boyfriend didn't bother to make any place at home for our stuff).

The cane = in addition to the pills, I guess the character had a climbing accident ? We don't see her sport stuff level 6 onward.

Feel free to add more.

I can't think of the exact level BUT when you move out of the boyfriends house we put up one of their pictures on the cork-board...when you do so the thumbtack is directly over the ex's face (or maybe I'm just blind lol)

At some point pretty early the piggy bank disappears. I don't remember it when moving in with the roommates.

Oh man! I wondered what the cane was about, that would make sense.

I loved that the D&D books were in the white boxes in the last level. Their personal things didn't tend to be that mixed together otherwise, so it made me feel like her wife had picked up her love of the game. I thought that was really sweet.

Anyone have any thoughts about the radios?

She also suddenly has back pain medicine. Didn't realize what that was for until my friend pointed it out.

Are you speaking about the walkie-talkies?

Another thing: when she finally gets her own home (level 6), she begins to openly display her religious faith through the menorah and the hamsa. Maybe her staying at her family's house after her breakup made her "rediscover" the pious family traditions. Indeed in her room from when she was a kid, there is a wooden dreidel (level 1 and 5), that hints very early in the game at her being Jewish.

Her D&D mini started out plain grey, and eventually she painted it.

I suspect the walkie talkies are for going to conventions. When you first move in the new girlfriend's things (so much stuff lol) she has a lot of fandom items. She also had a couple of clothing items that could be cosplay.

I loved seeing the pet beetle until he disappeared, only to see he was immortalized in a little painting (as well as the group DnD party painting)! He lives on foreverrrrr.

I also don't know where to put this but I wish we could put the piggy book in the last level in the nursery - it wouldn't let me :( and I wanted the narrative of the parents reading it to the baby!!

I hope it was a sporting accident. My reading was that something went down with the boyfriend and the main character was injured. The ugly breakup, the cane, moving back home. I don't like my interpretation, but that's how it read to me.

She still had her yoga mat and dumbells when she moved home, and didn't have her cane yet until she moved back out to her own place. I think the accident was sometime between the home and new place levels.

my initial thought was that she was suffering from chronic pain, but that's just my interpretation :)

Well the rainbow socks and the fact that another woman moves in with her and they eventually have a baby together.

My interpretation of the cane is that she was diagnosed with something chronic like MS. The cane sticks with her and she eventually adds a wrist brace.

The stuffed piggy inspired her as a kid to draw, and she eventually writes a childrens' book starring a pig, and it wins an award. She keeps the original pig and repairs it as life goes on. Maybe she gives it to her kid. Pretty touching stuff.

Chronic disease is a pretty plausible interpretation for the cane and the medicine.

About Mr Piggy, indeed I remember we unpack it from the boxes in the baby's room, so she's about to give it to her kid alright.

About the socks, I meant it's a early hint (I think, level 6 when she moves in alone at her place) about her sexual orientation, that's confirmed in level 7 when another woman comes to live with her.

One thing I didn't quite understand was in level 3 (with the roommates). I think one of them is from New-Zealand (given the kiwi and the flag) and the other is the one who cosplays and sews her own costumes. Could it be that she's the one who comes to live with the protagonist at the end? Are there clues about that?
