Some silly twittering like "hi everyone, we still work on the game, blah blah blah"?
A large patch came out a 1,5 months ago. It took them several months to make so another one or a DLC (which is shown on steamdb https://steamdb.info/app/1135300/dlc/ ) will likely take quite a while as well.
I'm sure they will say something when they have something to show.
Have some patience.
There are mods that's been in development without any new updates for over a decade (but still in development).
But here a month passes and people already say the game's dead.
If people are going to review bomb this game and say "this isn't what we want", why would they waste time and money on it further?
The number of reviews show that sales were good (it has more reviews than Disciples Liberation or, say, Expeditions: Rome).
And hot dollar/euro to ruble conversion rate means it's just the right time for a Russian game dev studio to release games/DLCs and make money.
Also the first reception is important, but sometimes games recover after a few patches/dlcs when the devs actually listen to players.
No Man's Sky was a disaster when it was released but the recent reviews are "very positive".
On a side note, I wonder if whoever blocked a bunch of games in Russia (I wanted to check some other infamous games but they're all unavailable) understand that people who wage war in Ukraine and people who sit at home playing video games are 2 different groups.
And the more people are busy playing games, the fewer people engage in politics, attack neighboring countries or other ♥♥♥♥.
if it's a pity to sponsor a Russian company, go ahead, bring money to the Chinese
And NFTs ;D
I wish the developers at least disclose what they were planning for the game, plot, unit, and map wise, before they wrap up.
