I mean sure, this might not be a terrible game by any stretch and i might even pick it up again down the line, but as a successor to Kings bounty and 50€ this is a bad joke imo... So yeah I fully understand all the angry reviews from all the people who hoped to get a new fantasy turnbased strategy game, for this is more like a indie rpg unfortunately:/

It does seem to be a terrible game based on what reviews are saying...

And if you watch people playing it on YouTube or Twitch, it looks pretty bad from my perspective.

Combine that with your point of this NOT being anything like what made the original Kings Bounty a game we liked... and you have a new game most people aren't enjoying that stole the "Kings Bounty" name in order to deceive players into giving money to it.

Imagine if this was called something else, a no-name title... a few quick and likely negative reviews would have killed it instantly and would have been a huge flop. The Kings Bounty name is the only thing keeping this thing in the spotlight (at least for a bit)

If this game was not related to Kings Bounty it would have been described as:
The game that WANTS to be King's Bounty, but completely fails to be even a decent clone of it.

I haven't seen a single bug in 2 hours and haven't seen reviews complaining on bugs, game is rather janky when you leave cutscenes though, the mouse is a bit too sensitive for my tastes.

It's less about bugs and more about the drastic turn this game took from the original KB games..

The combat is exactly like how I'd expect and want kings bounty 2 to be. The third person overland view takes some getting used to.

The combat is the ONLY reason it is even decent... Too bad it seems like they went heavy storyline and "immersion" so combat takes back seat to the other 80% of the game

Between the keybinding issues, the obvious lazy port issues, and that fact that combat seems to take a backseat to everything else... This game is not worth it IMO...

So far it seems really odd, really on the fence about it. I don't like the UI at all, absolutely nothing about it. There is always hover text even if I am not hovering on it. Feels made for consoles. Also don't like all the junk you collect, what is the point? Just make it gold. Also don't like the camera angle on the map, it should be a bit more top-down, currently it's very hard to tell what's going on.

I do like the random treasures and puzzles, and overall battles are still alright, minus UI issues.

This game would have been perfect if they had kept the ISO of the original and the combat mechanism in this game,

Unfortunately, i kept getting stuck behind foliage,..was STUPID design that requires me to get off my horse to interact with anything and the view point makes immersing yourself in the game impossible. REFUNDED (The only game i have EVER refunded since i try to support developers)
