Anyone manage to complete a legendary set?

I just did a re-run with the Warrior and pick only Power choices, but still I ended up with random pieces between the "Hero's Battle Armor" and "Serpentine King's Armor" set and unable to complete one.

Has anyone manage to complete a full set? If so, please share your experience.

Finesse/Order Mage, completed the Sanguinus robe set (bought the 50k one as soon as I could afford it, got the other 5 pieces through quests, iirc.).

Got an achievement for "Complete all Maximillian sets" which I believe was mainly through Scryer Trials -- not that I ever wanted to use any of it.

Believe I could have gotten together the Archmage set (not sure if that's Legendary or just Rare -- it has a set effect, though... but didn't feel the need to.

Did you get any point one the opposite ideal (Anarchy/Power) or fully commited to Order/Finesse?

I know sets aren't needed to complete the game, but I just want to complete them for once just for the sake of completion.

For the Hero's set and King's set, you can only get one. I got the King's set:

Armor: both set's armor can be bought from the first merchant at the top left town.
Weapon: from side quest "Iron Men" in Floster.

Helmet: from side quest "Julian and Rosalyn" in the big cemetery.
Shoes: from main quest "Deceived Witch"
Belt: from main quest "Missing Treasurers"
Gloves: from main quest "Secrets of the Trade Guild"

The problem is for the above 4 pieces, when you turn in the quests, the NPC will randomly reward you a piece of Hero's set or King's set. So you need S/L before turn in the quest to get the set you want.

BTW the Hero's set weapon is from the merchant in Floster

Yup, I know how to get the pieces from the merchants, but I didn't know the 4 pieces from quest are awarded totally random. Some dudes earlier told us that it's base on your ideal choices. Thank for clarification.

I've just obtained Necromancer set. It is not legendary, but probably the best set for pure undead mage which I am using, undead get the following bonuses: 25% vampirism, 25% damage, 25% critical, 10 armour, 10 resistance, 10% HP .

This was very helpful. I had to go back a few hours and S/L for the King's boots from the witch and gloves from the merchant. I don't think it's quite random or based on ideal though. I got different boots based on my army makeup. When I had finesse and power it went 10 straight without getting King's boots. When I swapped them out for Order units, I got them right away.
