unable too even start to play the game
if i select the option tab the game will just go back to the menu.
when i go su the comand menu the game will just continue too scroll to the option and force me too alt+f4 the game.
most of the time the game will just stuck it self scrolling to the menu or crash.
I did not have all this problem on the game pass version of the game...what happen?

hmmm can you DM me the logfilet from user/appdata/locallow/h/thefalconeer and then the .log files. or copy past the bottom bit (the last entries should be any errors)

There have been some issues with the New playstaton Dualsense controllers giving weird issues. Could you try turning off the steaminput in the game settings in steam? this can sometimes help.

It sounds like a controller issues, there have also been some known bugs with a virtual controller installed by some streaming software..

it does the same thing even whit out a controller...and i don't have any virtual controller or streaming software

hhmm it is having some issues with connecting to the steam achievement and savefile system
it cannot read the savefile.

You say you also played on gamepass on PC. could it be the gamepass savefiles are still on your system? something is conflicting over it, and it would also find issues with the settings save..

if you have no attachment to that old save file.. just delete the entire user/appdata/locallow/wiredproductions/thefalconeer folder

just wipe and then try again, so nothing from the gamepass old version can conflict.

it do remember both versions using the same storage folder,, hence it could cause issues.. but clutching at straws here...
I gotta go to bed, (it's close to midnight here),,

if that doesn't work, please wander into the discord where troubleshooting is a bit easier tommorow.

i deleted everything but the problem is still there...but it's now 1am...time for bed even for me.

Sorry to hear that,, There is something going wrong with the steam connection required to play the game tho. Perhaps a full uninstall of the game from steam, and then a re-install. I do have a recollection of the same issue, and something like that fixed it..

Ok here are some steps to get a debug version, this will display any errors on screen and in the log in detail. if something is wrong hardware or software, this should show it (cept an illegal pirated version, but assuming that's not relevant here on steam).

so go to the game settings in steam, and go to betas,, there you can enter this password: JY5BPkQTXzk7

it will allow you to switch the branch to the "staging" beta.. set the game to the staging beta and restart the steam client to force an update.

You now have a debug version of the game, this isn't intended for playing,just retreiving the precise error message (if it occurs), there is one ignorable error in red on the bottom left corner of the screen, ignore the first one, but send me any screens if a second one pops up in the places where you usually have issues.

this should identify the problem, and a way forward.,

so...i launch the game in the debug version and none of the problem show...the game as you told me show an error but it remain the same,it doesn't change...but if i go back to the standard version again the problem is still there.do you still want a picture from the error?even if the error doesn't change? .

Hmm this happens for some reason sometimes an error won't show up in the debug version . Those are the worst..

Please send me your .log in the discord. Let's see if there is any information there.
