buuuut.. I have a long experience with VR (worked on TrackLab for PSVR) and I love the medium, so not excluding at getting some nextgen VR setup and having a go at adding it to the game.
but it won't happen super soon sadly.
Wow thank you for this, I just bought the game !
Take your time please, also after an official launch I'm pretty sure you will be busy on later days catching any bugs if they arise, but please...
whenever you feel ready to implement support even with gamepad go for it.
I'm going to play it today and will check if at least I can pull 3D depth and Imax size screen support with VorpX or Helixvision.
something like this: https://youtu.be/c9pftH6Np0Q
PS: what engine/renderer (dx10?11?12) is the game using? this could help configuring it :P
(it seems to be unity but not sure what DirectX renderer)
dunno about 3dDepth, but it is running depth buffer over dx12 so it should be grabbable
Well I tried HelixVision and it detects the game engine as Unity 2019.4.10.5444019.
I set the renderer to Directx 11 or 12 and the game starts and I can see the splash screen but then it crashes badly. I think it is just that the unity version doesn't like this helix mod:
http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2018/09/unity-universal-fix.html
the only error I got from event viewer application is this:

Now, I tried with VORPX and at least I can play in giant screen size but it has no real 3D depth it only enables a Z-adaptive or Z-Normal methods but those close to flat 2d standard gameplay as anyone playing without VR.
But hey It plays on a very big screen and sustained 90 fps and looks good.
I wish that at least 3D depth could work on any of both because as I keep playing I have to tell I'm enjoying the views heheh
Nice and cute game!!
anyway, take your time, as mentioned before.
I hope you manage to add some VR support later :)
cheers and congrats on the release!
VR is on the agenda but it wouldn't be practical schedule wise until at least a serious number of contant updates/dlc has been released and my schedule clears up
I had to force the game into window mode for this to work.
The profile I used gives minimum 3D depth but it still looks stunning in immersive screen.
Hoping to have a video tomorrow.
Looking forward to that video
