The game is great, even in terms of challenge ( because it's entirely customizable and you can tweak difficulty the way you want ).
YET the game is rly interesting and has rly fun weapons mechanics and upgrade combos that can go in a great sinnergy with some items... i love it.. despite the game not having many maps, mobs and mob variants, i rly love it and feels very nostalgic
YEEET, if you play with many modifiers... they can make the game pure insanity
This games new "Daily Dungeon" and "Boss Rush" mode are freaking brutal, I find myself failing it each time usually after the mid point. It could just be that the new enemy patterns are throwing me off, the fact I'm doing it on Single player only, or that I'm pretty bad with some of the weapons they force you to use. Either way, it's giving me Devil May Cry- Dante Must Die mode vibes.
and now i can do some really consistent runs in Harder settings.
Something that i really like it's when Roguelites have easy option to help players get the hang of the game, learn the patterns and get better used to the game so i can gradually increase the challenge.
