Other heal relicts need massive buffs. For example there is a relict that heals you for 2 HP if you make a perfect skill. Even if you don't compare it to crit-heal this is an absolute joke. It needs to be 15/30/45 HP to be an alternative.
An other option would be to nerf the crit-heal, but then you would need to tune down the damage from all monsters by a large margin.
I would agree. I hope the Devs see this topic and think about doing some balancing for both sides of this.
We don't reply to every thread but definitely read every one. We appreciate the feedback and will discuss.
Also, it gives you a huge disadvantage in terms of dps ( longer fights would mean more chances to die, as well as not improving your skill because of heal spam ), especially with 4 relics limit ( I noticed the big difference compared to the other players )
Today I cleared expert diff with a friend and tomorrow we are going for doom.
Then it would be doom + all afflixes actived.
I hardly doubt I am going to find the crit heal build that much viable ( especially considering the 1hp max start ), but I can see it reasonably safer than dps builds on easier difficulties ( although, having monster dealing less damage in solo... I suppose at some point one might go with that build even with all the afflixes... but it's just a guess... after all I go 2-4p ).
What are you arguing? That the hardest difficulty of the game is hard and negates a lot of builds? Sure.
Glad you cleared expert. I'm not here to stroke ego on "skill" in a game like this.
Game isn't balanced, period.
Actually, I cleared doom a couple hours ago ( even without much healings. and everybody may get their own doom, since combinations are so many ), and was trying to understand how to demons ( but seems impossible for my skills ).
In addition to that, on steam I have not even unlocked all relics ( about half of them ), and it's kinda hard to always hit crit healing gloves and gems, but it may happen ( if you know a way to always push crit heal I am all ears ).
But I am pretty sure we will see some fix to healings, one way or the other ( my point was merely that devs should consider all difficulties before do any modify ).
