More Colors?

Where are the unlock requirements for the new character colors?

I was awarded 1 additional color after I beat World 5 the first time. It was a dark purple & black color.

Additionally, in World 3, I saw a new room where a boarded house on the top left had the tree symbol that was very sus. However, I don't know if this is actually a potential hidden color room or not.

devs have said before, that the hidden color rooms all have the same weird logo on it.

the waterfall u bomb in world 1
the ice pillar wall thing u burn in world 2
the haunted house u need 2 wisps to open in world 3
the two lightning spire things u need to hit with thunder or Judgement in world 4

all those have that same weirdy mark

As far as I know the three new colors are from beating the final boss (one color) and then beating the big version of the final boss (two colors).

purple - beating praxis, black & white - beating praxis in the architect's realm, red - completing a loop in the endless loop mode

I read black and white as one color set and had to double take given the count of four >.>

awesome all the same xD ish something fun to hunt for~ can never have too many colors anyways, its a fun hunt and goal for people to chase, as well as ebburyone wants to have their own unique looks~ like even if they have their favorite red or pink, it'd be awesome to have more variations on it too, kinda like how theres tons of variations of red, green and blue now.

like a white/pink, black/pink, a blackflamehead with glowing blue eyes or stuffs like that xD

While I enjoy gaining these secret colors, it would be nice if they gave some added benefit outside of simply cosmetic effect.

Honestly I'm just glad there's color customization at all instead of, say, limiting it to what number player you are (ex. player 1 is blue).

I would dislike it A LOT: being forced into a certain costume because of some benefits I would like to have? Hell no.

yeah, this is how we feel about it too. we want players to be able to play as their favorite color because they like that color. i wouldn't want them to feel like they have to play as a color they don't want to get a benefit they may prefer.

Is there a list of all 14 colors and how to unlock them? I think I unlocked some during early access but honestly I don't remember what I did or didn't unlock anymore and am not sure what I still need to do for the ones I'm missing lol.

one of our Discord members (lostillustrator) made a really nice illustration for all the colors and how to get them. i don't think a direct link to the image works but our Discord is discord.gg/emberknights
