Arcane Orb in Compendium Issue

I am having an issue adding the Arcane Orb skill as unlocked in the Compendium. I currently have 14/15 skills with it showing as ???.
I read, in a previous patch, that you could do so by starting with the staff and switching skills in the premium shop but, though I swapped the skill in and out several times, Arcane Orb has yet to be added to the compendium.
Is there something else that must be done to unlock it normally?

It's a strange interaction at the moment. You need to drop the Orb and then pick it up again. That should have it register in the Compendium. Let me know if that doesn't work!

Thanks but that is what I attempted. Used the premium shop in the hub to get two totally different skills, causing me to drop the orb, but when I pick it up again the skill does now show in the compendium. Even repeated this a few times after restarting the game - unfortunately the orb is still not in the compendium.

Thanks but that is what I attempted. Try picking it up to both of the different skill slots, might be something weird happening here...

Unfortunately I tried that as well. Still remains as ??? in the compendium.
The last thing I will attempt this weekend is to attempt to replace it mid-run somehow and see if that works. That said, pretty frustrating way to unlock a skill...IF it works.

Its weird that this hasn't worked for you. I tried it in the office the other day and it seemed to work fine. Hopefully we can get to the bottom of this for you...

I think I may have figured out what your issue is, when you first spawn into the Nexus make sure that you swap off of the staff and then swap back onto it, so the skill is removed and re-added to your inventory. Then try dropping the skill on the ground and picking it back up. This seems to be an issue related to having the skill equipped while spawning into the Nexus.

That was the fix! The skill is now in the Compendium!
