Improvable Co-op visibility
A problem I face is when in multiplayer my own hud (my skills and hp) become transparent which is a good idea, but not seeing ur hp and cd's is catastrophical in some instances. I'd rather have the cam be able to move far enough for this to not be needed or keep it at 100% transparency

I agree. Them going transparent in multiplayer has been an issue for me as well. Certainly gotten me hit when I had no way to see if my skills were available or not due to them disappearing.

I'd appreciate if they were at a lower opacity instead of going completely invisible.

Maybe give it an option to toggle between 0/50/100% opacity

Yeah I understand why this is a feature in couch coop but I don't need it in online multiplayer and a change in the opacity would be nice.

So HUD is to big and obstructs too much of the screen. After few runs we decided to turn it off and gamepley feels better, I see all enemies, no surprises, when the HUD is turned on, it often happens that it covers up an enemy or a flying projectile, which is very annoying and spoils gameplay.

I don't need to know my current HP while fight. After fight, I open inventory to check current HP if needed and this is fine for me. Not fine is that after turn off HUD I can't see my skills coldowns. I suggest to add some option to show skills coldowns (some small icons above/under character). Game is very fast, while playing I always have my eye on my character, so it will be good to always see also my skills coldowns.

Good post. The UI going invisible didn't really cause any of my deaths yet however I do feel like there should be some kind of indicator or highlight around the player showing which ember knight you are currently playing as. Every time we remake the lobby people are playing as different color knights and it causes us to mess up sometimes after a long run of being a specific color.

+1
They should take some inspiration from Dragon's Crown, another 4 player co-op game where a lot of visual effects would often clutter the screen. Each character had a circular highlight at their feet that doubled as a health bar, a contextual resource counter above their heads for characters that use mana/ammo, and each of these HUD elements was the same color as the player slot (red/blue/green/yellow). Plus for online co-op, there were options to tone down the visual effects & damage numbers for your allies so that you could see your own character's effects more clearly

Having a uniquely colored health bar and skill indicators attached to your character in Ember Knights would be a huge improvement. It's easy to lose track of how many more hits you need to recharge your skills when you're focused on dodging a bunch of enemy attacks in the middle of the screen

UP, i would even suggest that the UI could be on left or right side instead of bottom. BEcause there is more horizontal space.

When you walk toward the bottom of teh screen, your character is almost a 75% close to the bottom part leaving 25% of the screen space where you wan't to go (personnally i would reduce this effect or make it option). If you had the presence of the UI and the fact it does't get transparent for ennemies (only players). you can't see where you go and take free damage
