Telemetry via phone/tablet?

What app do I use to get the telemetry? The game has the option for UDP broadcast but doesn't give any suggestions for an app to actually use it.

I actually tried that one but it requires extra software to work.

I didn't know if there was one that could just run off f1 2021 although I understand if that's not the case...

If you have an second monitor, you can download the Telemetry Tool from Racedepartment.com

Works for all other racing Sim games too

Note tho that TT isnt updated for the 2021 UDP format yet, you have to set the game to output in 2020 format or it will keep crashing

Nah no second monitor. I'm playing on a LG Cx in the living room. Much easier to fit the racing chair that way.

I was planning on using a phone or tablet mounted behind my wheel. I just assumed codemasters had their own app and I just wasn't finding it.

I'll probably have to use the one in the first post. I don't want to mark it as the answer yet just in case there is something else that's better but it has to work on a phone or tablet.

I mean I do have a small work monitor I could use but it would be very inconvenient due to its design. I'd also need to buy some extension cables for whatever video output it uses

So it looks like Im going with race dash for now but ty for showing me this.. this is next level fantastic and after I buy my motorcycle I'll be all over this.

You can also create something fancy with a raspberrypi for a reasonable price, a lot of tutorials and videos on that. And raspberrypi is really easy to work with.
