Ghosting with DLSS on
Hi, i am having a ghosting issue with the tyres and the mini front antenna with DLSS on. If i want to play without ghosting, i have to deactivate AA. Any other solutions?

i tried using DLSS and i had massive ghosting on AI cars in front of me mainly and also on all cars in replay (all settings on ultra or high). Did not seem to bring me any better FPS even though it should, so i switched back to the default TAA

yeh DLSS is not great in the F1 games, 2020 was the same, there are different versions of DLSS and you can actually download and insert different versions of it which do perform differently, 2021 actually has the latest 2.2.9 version of DLSS but the previous version 2.2.6 performed better and produces far less ghosting, i have implemented this version into 2021 and its not too bad. DLSS is a lot blurrier in f1 2020 and 21 than other games aswell, maybe its the nature of the fast motion that makes it worse i dont know but the F1 games look far worse than just about any other game using DLSS but if you want to use the ray traced shadows and reflections it really does help boost the framerate.

this should help you if you wish to try other versions of DLSS in the game, does require a little bit of technical know how as you will be changing the games DLL file for a different one.

DLSS produces ghosting thats just how it is.

I feel like DLSS in F1 2020 was better than in 2021.

you need to use dlss version 2.2.10 dll found here https://www.techpowerup.com/download/nvidia-dlss-dll/

The others cause horrendous ghosting. Just paste it over the dlss file in the directory of f1 2021

Still a bit of ghosting off the tires, but I also think it's better.

Does the updated file help at all, the ones linked above?

I'm using it because of ultrawide. The game does look better without DLSS.

I want to get around 90 fps, but I get barely 60 with dlss off

If DLSS is off, is the ghosting of the cars off too ?
