With regards to the kerbs, you need to increase your ride height from last year because of the changes otherwise you will spin a lot more often off the kerbs.
Like increase wings by 1? 2? 3? and ride high by 1, 2, 3?
In monaco I already had maxed wings and still can't make a single round without a crash in 2021,... just when I was "mastering" monaco without touching a wall for a full race. And now I can't even make half a lap without wing damage. :-(
It is borderline frustrating really.
The real Cars has trouble with understeering. too.
F1 2021 is only the mirror of the real world.
Learn to handle that fact.
If not sure where to start, have a look at the guides section or the workshop. That should give you a basic template for this year in which you can tweak to your liking.
And suddenly it is playable and enjoyable again.
I have not used that training wheel since 2019 and never thought id turn it back on,... but no matter how many times I adjust settings and try to get something to work,... I can't play 2021 with a pad and without tracktion control it seems.
Barely noticed the difference with my friends wheel, so there is that.
Guess I will have to find a place to put that real racing setup or swallow my pride and keep the training wheels on.
Considered both to be "a pad thing" tho and went without them on a wheel and paddel combo.
But 2021 really makes me reconsider. I am not a competitive player, but one that likes the sport and loves to relax while playing. Over the years assists got turned off while still being able to enjoy a smooth ride and relaxing gameplay.
2021 makes me sweat tho. Like, no joke lol. It is stressful to keep the car on the track and not a relaxing experience.
So ill have to swallow the pride and go with minor newbie wheels and have that small tracktion control on. :-(
if you spin, it's your own fault, don't expect a 5 meter long and 2 meter wide car to turn 90 degrees on a dime.
kerbs will ♥♥♥♥ your ♥♥♥♥ up if you take them wrong, just like irl.
Always fun to watch people feeling superior and just showing they did not even read the thing they reply to. :-)
Mind showing off your amazing skills in a nice vid, so I can learn from the master? No need to set up much... a new team, set AI to 100 and do Spain. Looking forward to learn how to play.
you claim to win at 90-105 difficulty but can't race without spinning.
try lowering the difficulty if the game is too difficult. :))
I will try that.
Usually run the rear higher.
For now I increased difficulty by 5 to offset the (much) easier handeling of having tracktion control on. Works pretty well,... I kinda finish at the same places, but without the annoying driving behavior. ;-)
A guy doing amazing F1 songs after each and every race.
