The 2021 game doesn't include classic cars anymore. Other than that i can't really see that much of a difference. It obviously has the updated liveries and calendar though and some minor UI changes.

I always build quite stable car setups, so i don't really feel any notable difference there. Might be different for people, who're playing the game like 10x more often than i do.

They changed how the setups work, though. The interface is the same, but the values are different. Setups from F1 2020 won't work correctly in F1 2021 and vice versa.

imho untill this for me, and others game breaking update, this has been somewhat the better game, slightl improvements to how the career mechanics work, 2 player career my team mode. and finally saveable full race replays, (at long ff*ng last) there's also a slightly more realistic feel to the physics engine with more realistic effects when for instance you use a lot of kerb etc, the the cars being slightly more skittish and harder to predict, like it is in reality especially if you turn off certain aids...on the downside and it is considerable the classic legend cars are no longer included, what's the bet E.A craftily, reintroduce them as paid DLC somewhere down the line, , claiming they are a new feature, any takers?

Well yeah, but that's such a minor argument, that it doesn't really matter when comparing those 2 games in my opinion. Unless you're so lazy, that you only copy your last games setups and doesn't even care enough to adapt to the new changes (at which point i would ask the question, if you even care enough to stay competitive in the first place)

Yes, F1 2020 is the Better game. The Handling Model in this Game is unrealictic and bad. Feels more NFS then F1. The Graphic was in F1 2020 better too.
