CODEMASTERS ... Petition to remove URALKALI from HAAS Livery...

Formula 1 team Haas has removed the branding from Russian sponsor Uralkali from its cars for the final day of pre-season testing Barcelona, in light of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

I believe given the recognition and publicity these brand names get through games such as this one, it is also important to follow suit and do what's right. I don't think any of us should have to play Single Player or Multiplayer races with Russian URALKALI sponsorship visible on HAAS cars, especially not the color pattern resembling Russian Flag on the front wing.

Let's call on CODEMASTERS to remove URALKALI and front wing colors from HAAS Livery, if HAAS team felt compelled to do this in real life I am sure game can and should receive an update as well to show our COMMUNITY's support for the people of Ukraine.

No need for discussion, simply reply with "BUMP" to sign.

It's not up to codemasters though. There is a decent chance it will be removed if Haas ends up cutting ties with the company and goes with a new livery but even that isn't guaranteed. It's all about the contracts/licenses.

So this was set up as PETITION, I thought it was simple but amazingly there are people that find it challenging to understand, you two dumb numbnuts leading the way answering to this post despite that it says "no comments, sign with a BUMP" or if you don't agree with it, don't sign it.

I understand what you're saying. I am hoping that given the circumstances and the fact that HAAS has already removed the brand from their cars and their Headquarters facility in North Carolina, I hope this will have a trickledown effect into the video game as well. Even their official F1 name has been already changed since Friday from URALKALI HAAS F1 TEAM to just HAAS F1 TEAM.

True, but with in 2019 with the whole Rich Energy fiasco it was never changed in game. Completely different circumstances of course but there are no guarantees either way.

F1 2021 is a representation of the 2021 season only. Global events and what Haas has decided in 2022 should have no bearing on the game intended to simulate the previous years events.
