Driver transfers My Team season 2

When several drivers are already confirmed to swap team next year (like Russell going to Mercedes) why doesn't that happen for season 2 in My Team instead of making it random? I now have Russell in Alpine, Bottas still in Mercedes.

Because it is intended to be random. It's F1 2021 after all, not F1 2022. And things don't play out the same in the game as in real life so moves that are made in real life might make no sense in the game.
