Denuvo or not? I am not looking forward to performance if Denuvo is included.

Denuvo makes a stark difference in performance, as I experienced in Death Stranding removing it from their game and getting higher FPS and quick loads. Adding Denuvo to Neir Automata gave such things a nose-dive. I will pre-order if it uses Denuvo.

Denuvo has been in F1 games since 2016 and has no impact on performance, because you can play them even on very weak computers. Just stop talking nonsense.

Nah dude, there arent any real problems with it anymore unless you have a low end pc that has difficulties running the game anyway.

I have had zero issues with a denuvo game and i run a midrange pc.
Are there cases where the performance was worse? yes , but the games have been older and the implementation was very new back then.

The software has come a long way since then.

my problem with denuvo is the online requirement and the privacy issues that comes from them collecting data.
if at any point their services get hindered, be it by outage, getting spanked by a ddos or even bankrupt, you lose access to your games, same with steam, but steam allows you to play offline without it having to phone home so you still "own" the games you have installed.

but that doesn't stop me from buying games with denuvo because i generally trust devs to remove denuvo through a patch if it ♥♥♥♥♥ the bed.

the last two years F1 was uncracked because denuvo in F1 2021 denuvo will no longer exist and u have better fps in the game the game come 15th july cracked out :)

Denuvo by itself only seems to lower performance when you only have a 4 core cpu OR only 8 gigs of system memory or both.

I've never gotten a performance gain in a game after denuvo was removed and that was before I upgraded my 5820k to a ryzen 5800x.

8GIGS is also way too low nowadays. Win10 will eat a lot of that already.

Pro denuvo people are trolls and think we should just throw money at something to fix issues. There's no reason to have it, corporations lay it on because they're afraid for their millions they DON'T NEED, then the game gets cracked a week in anyway.
