AI speed is insane in Qualifying and pathetic in Races

Happens every race. I got the best Car on the Grid but i´m always about a second behind P1. Same for my Teammate but i will win the Race as always. Why is there such a gap in pace between Qualifying and Race?

Difficulty is set to 102

Push harder on qualy :D

Try to lower the AI for qualy and increase it back for race

The AI setup seems to be more optimized for qualy. If it's not changed the ai is always driving with the same setup on all tracks. In F1 2020 i had to up the difficulty by 2 to 3 for races so in F1 2021.

edit: the ai is op at Silverstone.

And i thought i was the only one having problems there lmao.

They just fly through corners perfectly and i am overall second best car and cant keep up with anyone. It seems like they go full throttle but when i even try to do the same, even with a more turning biased car setting im wiping out :D But i am also not a pro so whatever...

Yep this has been a on going issue since 2018 or before if I can remember. Same with a lot of issue that never get fixed. Lazy devs

Which is sad because for me 102 is perfect for the race and lowering it to 101 evertime i have to do the qualifying is annoying in the longrun. I hope they will adress this in later installments
