Learn how to setup your car, there is a reason why it doesn't turn.
Monaco is just tricky, but once u got the curve it's alrighty.
lmaooooooooooooooooo
Still playing on pad in this games feels 10000 times worse than in previous ones. They ♥♥♥♥♥♥ something up
The Trick with Monaco is slower into the corners and fast on the exits. Overtaking is almost impossible so if you are fast on the exit cars behind don't stand a chance of passing you. Just keep a tight apex into each corner and your exit should be fast.
racing tends to mean very very fast driving... but if you're failing at driving itself... then racing is out of the picture.... just drive...
I do fine with a controller thanks. No one needs a wheel to have fun. Am on PC too. With practice I would probably gain a few tenths with a wheel but then I only ever drove motorbikes fast IRL so maybe not? IDK. Cars for me IRL are just quite boring, but I never had a chance to drive a racing car beyond a ferrari red ticket day at silverstone and yeah a few laps did not do it for me compared to motorbikes.. but anyway, that is off the point, no?
You can be smooth with a controller too is what I am saying. Not everyone using them is a console scrub. You could be nicer in your posts by not assuming that, no?
(Tho ihave made many a post saying "Why would anyone try to play a racing game on a keyboard/ a FPS game on a gamepad" ) I agree some games need a particular input system. However, I don't agree you need a wheel for a half arcade game like F1... Other, more simulator type games then you will feel the benefit more I Imagine, but F1? Controllers are fine. :)
Have fun :)
Controllers are a very, very useful tool for PC gaming. Likewise. Consoles can be quite nice. I don't see any reason to clutch on to the rather petty, rather childish "console versus PC" mindset when both obviously have a role to play in the larger gaming ecosystem.
Also. I have a racing sim setup and I gotta say that I don't really tend to use it for F1. I will certainly use it for the Assetto Corsa series or the Automobilista series but F1 is pretty solid with a gamepad and I don't always want to have all my racing sim stuff crowding up my desk.
