Is this a roguelike/roguelite game?

Dark Light is a Metroidvania game with souls-like features and Rogue-lite elements. The difficulty of the game increases as you progress into the game.

During players’ progress, the Rogue-lite temporary skill allows the player to have a taste of what skills they might acquire permanently in the later stage.

You can upgrade your character, and weapons and keep them you don't lose them, only the skills you pick up from totems are temporary

How do I keep my skills?

In the Mid-late game When you have arrived in the second town. You can join Factions to get special drones with skill trees (skills permanently unlock from there)

What is the average playtime for current version?

Current content is about 20- 40 hours of game play time with about 15 bosses.
6 unique biomes. + 2 faction town.

Where should I go after defeating the dragon boss?

HI, go far left side of the room before the dragon there is a gate that takes you to a new map. Also, check your mini-map for unexplored areas

Where to farm Small Trinitite Shards?

Try Sewers, The abandoned mine. Save Gem smith for stone trading

No sound?

Patch 1.05.2 should fix this for all new players, if you still have this issue from an old save go to menu/sound and adjust it to full.

Isn't there any "Estus" system for healing?

Yes, follow Quest 2 in Cargobay you will get one, and explore other zones to get 1 more. We will add more in Newgame+ you can also trade and collect healing orbs from loots

I got a long load time how do I make it load faster?

Hi, the first time loading to the menu takes a bit long on an old hard drive sometimes it will appear to freeze but it can be loaded through on SSD it’s about 40secs on an old drive 1-2mins. We are working on a patch to reduce the loading time.
