Wait till the Orb lights shine in a different area, then move quickly (I use Dash) to reach the next pillar and hide there. Continue moving to the right by avoiding the lights and using pillars to avoid taking damage.
The Orbs will also shoot projectiles at you when you are hiding behind the pillar. Wait till they almost touch you, then jump or double-jump to avoid them. Don't roll because it will make you move out of cover and get hit by the light. The Roll invincibility frames also won't protect you.
Yes, it is very difficult. Your timing, movement and positioning need to be extremely precise. I died there around 20-25 times before I passed the area and reached the Portal. In all my 13 hours of playtime (seems I've reached the end of the current game available), I've only died 6 other times.
The Dark Hunter doesn't have nearly enough fine control to land right in the middle of each pillar with each movement, there is no partial cover as soon as you stick a toe out, and the damage dealt by the light is just ludicrously severe.
I made it to sphere number 4 by now, for the record. In something like a dozen attempts.
This is not fun.
Later on, there are 2 other similar challenges in the other regions. Different kind of orbs, but also high damage. Those are somewhat easier.
