How to reach The Ancient Ruins?

How do I get to the ancient ruins from the city of flesh? I have all 5 city of flesh areas open but I can not find the way to the ruins. Do I have to kill the overpowered cloud riding samurai that I can't kill cause he blocks all ranged attacks and kills me in 3 hits max?

Hi gimpy707,

The City of Flesh boss use to be very hard, but he should be more manageable now If he can 3 shots you, it's best to level up your health/energy more before you fight him. The boss has a special close-range shotgun attack that does a lot of damage.

If you follow Cargobay's questlines, you should try to get the regen health item/skill from “ Corrupted Celestial Sentinel” in the hidden sewer section below “Undercity”. You will need to defeat the Samurai guy in Undercity for an easy fight to gain the key to “Sewers”

Couple of ideas you can beat him:
Use your stun drone, and power down attack to stun him and melee him from behind

Stock up turrets place them and lure him to face you let the turret does the damage

Use roll and dash to avoid his cloud lightning attacks
