Weapons Guide?

need some help a bout weapons. trying to figure out which weapon is better than the other also perhaps which sockets fits more. i got the the hammer from butcher, the scythe from summoner, the sword from that hugeass red boss from the ancient sewers and the swords from that Raiden wannabe. any advice? also any good guns? im currently with the starter rare rifle(im more of the sniper type).

rifle with poison is best for me. other thing is, most fast way to kill dragon is using the dragon pistol and flame granedes(of course first you must kill the dragon to get the dragon pistol. then its so easy to kill it again with that pistol). when it comes to melee weapon i used sword that i dropped from raiden wannabe with lightning upgrades and self upgrades. im not sure that short katana sword stronger than the raiden wannabes sword. i didnt fully upgraded them btw, just 4/5

oh thank you very much for your input. true about the melles weapon. annd if im not mistaken the base dmg and DPS was higher in the Raiden wannabe sword, hence why. it the expceptional and epic quality that baffles me. which is better. for the dragon pistol. any reccomeded sockets?

I tried the Fire gem with the rifle and dragon pistol, it was seriously disappointing. I guess one point that the developers have skipped over is, the effectiveness of fire gem. three poison gems on the dragon pistol and rifle seriously increase the damage. for the ice gem, its very useful with laser gun

I am waiting for new updates to reinstall the game :) hope the developers dont lose motivation as others do

what they need to add is the ability to replaced socket-ed gems. so incase we made a mistake we can always redo it without having a failed weapon cuz some weapons only drop once no?

Thanks for the feedbacks guys, very interesting discussion. Agree that there are weapon balance works need to be done. Will look into it.

Holy hell the Devs have spoken!!! nice for the quick response. i do hope that replacing a socketed gem wouldnt be too pricey. its the grind for money that sometimes irk me. also the drops for materials(health,energy and weapon upgrades) too. my biased opinion its a bit too random or little.... or my luck that sucks really bad... cant say for sure

We are adding function of recovering your body (shards) in next update and gem smith is a part of quest system we are working on.

thank you very much for your hard work and looking forward to the next update. this sure be a game changer. also i dont suppose you could change the effect of the 3x fire gem to and explosiove round with knockback? the current effectiveness is a bit underwhelming in practice. just a though or add the potency a bit more.

The ability to shoot upwards would be nice.

and downwards too. the missile droid is good in fast past except pray it hit when you launch it near. it wouldbe nice to be able to shoot downwards in mid double jump or falling from heights

Does anyone have any information as to what blacksmith can reforge the weapon parts? I have apache's and Amoux's but the only blacksmiths I'm aware of are in the two cargo areas and neither have anything about reforging them
