OK as a FTP game its not too bad
yes, its a port from a mobile device game and yes its an Eve clone, and yes the devs didnt go into detail checking somethings before starting it on steam (4000 galacies in 1000 light years? SOLAR SYSTEMS not galaxies) anyways, graphics are tolerable and game play is simple and easy so far (lev 3) will see how it goes from here, but for free what can you expect??

HMM level 13 now, and have my first cruiser. research takes time and even though I have a bunch of research boosters, there's no info on how to use them. also use a destroyer for most missions right now but did a level 13 mission and they chose FOR me..and sent me out in a frigate. so no over kill here it seems.seems cant mine until you finish the chapter 5 missions..working no that now.will see how 'open world' it is after a while, and as far as I can tell theres no blue prints or auction house things for game money..cash all the way baby..lol

They don't have 1000 solar systems either. You can count them yourself. All missions will have a specific type of ship that is allowed for the mission so you need all five ship types. There are blue prints given to you for in-game currency... it's called Merit Store. There are multiple currencies in this game. You also gain 100k of the player market currency every day from maxing out your dailies bar. Playing the market earns some people millions. Made a small fortune on buying out ammo and restocking it for a higher price.

To use a booster look at the research a 2nd time and click on it.

hmm dont do pvp, I'm immortal after all...lol and never do PTW so I'll play for free until I get sick of it...and I have a shorter than normal attention span....ahahah but these attitudes show immediately why it'll never really be a big success. Like many other smaller indy games.

This isn't really a game though. This is a ladder simulator identical to Ultimate Naruto, Naruto Online, Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes, insert popular phone battle arena game here, etc

Pay to win and paying to stay ahead is all that matters here. It's a quick cash grab and most people will quit when they see what happens at lvl 40.

in that case its a failure already huh? I couldnt care less myself, I'll quit when I get tired of it and enver look back...its my revenge on money grabbers. I play for free and leave...lol

So first no one is level 40 yet, so dont pretend that you are level 40 and know what you are talking about. (Ive been playing since the start and hitting the cap every day, there is physically no way to have reached 40 by this point).

Second, this isnt pay to win if you are with an active corp that does missions and infections together daily. You get a crapton of resources from both doing the corp missions and clearing out infections near your base. You get some points for controlling systems and if everyone is active your corp will rake in the intel required to start more corp missions.

Playing the gala market can make you a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, getting tier 2 blueprints from wormholes can make you a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of gala but once again you most likely will need a team for this as its competative. You use that gala to buy more resources and push up your ranking faster.

Now all that being said its not hard to find an active corp, almost all the corps are recruiting so its up to you solo players to look around and find a corp you want to join. Message them say hey I was interested in joining can I get on your discord and talk to you guys. If they see you are a nice guy who is active they are probably going to snap you up.

If you are a lone wolf who hates doing anything with other players, ya you are going to be at a disadvantage, but otherwise you can get quite powerful just by working as a team. Talk to people see what they are doing to get resources and gala. There are tricks to this game.

Edit: Raiding also gives you a ton of resources, plus knocking out other players is a lot of fun.

This game has been beta this past summer and pre-alpha in a previous year. I played both. I've been using my knowledge to inform my corp mates of builds, metas, and practical limitations along with the credit problem to avoid noob mistakes. Feel free to remain oblivious as it quite literally doesn't affect us if you wish to be a free kill.

FYI, the game's actually been in pre-alpha since 2016, which you can confirm here:

That isn't remotely accurate for end game. We're in the middle stages of the game currently where things are still affordable and ships can be replaced. Again, you have no idea what sort of wallet warrior end game awaits and doubt me all you want. You will see in time.

Gala directly comes from daily quests or paying money, both requiring people to continue playing. That source of income dries up. Ammo already became less profitable, no longer being bought out at maximum value by the whales, and other items are starting to fall off. You'll see by the end of the second month that the trading post is a ghost town as it became in the testing cycle.

End game demands T3 ships to raid the 49 prosperity towers. These are not easily replaced with values upwards of 50 million due to the cash shop/rare farm items they require to develop and the market control implemented by the developers to ensure high tax revenue on sales. You WILL find the game nigh impossible to maintain within a few weeks. It's the same formula many games, including the ones listed, make use of to put phenomenal pressure on players. The difference being that even a free to play noob can make progress in SWGOH if he grinds daily but in Second Galaxy pirate packs can raid your ship mission and make you lose progress.

Again, this is not up for debate. It's been seen before last year, this past summer, and will repeat itself again. This is just a beer and pretzels game, not to be taken seriously as EVE Online, and once the honeymoon phase ends people will begin phasing out -- as is already happening in my massive alliance. Each corp controls multiple solar systems but if you think resources are the bottleneck you haven't seen anything yet.
