How do you spin attack with controller?

I'm playing on Xbox. I figured out I can spin by rotating the left joystick. I saw videos of people doing a spin attack and floating off. I can't seem to do it no matter what button combination I press.

Nevermind. My friend figured it out. Need to use the Greatsword. And you hold both triggers and the attack button.
