Demo Cheat Guide

hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii it's me cal ヽ(*・ω・)ﾉ

now that the demo announcement has been made, i wanted to craft a small guide for how to cheat for all you folks who love cheating like me i love cheating

1. open steam library
2. "right click" on "Overthrown Demo" and select "properties"
3. in the box that says "Launch Options" in the "General" tab, type in the following

-console

when you boot up the game this should allow you to have the option to cheat! to bring up the cheat box, press the key to the left of the 1 key on your keyboard!

folks can compile all the cheats you find below, but have fun cheating i love crime!

Interesting, you can use this to keep playing the demo in the same world if you want to by resetting the time. I love the annotations for the spawn commands lol very amusing. Also the game holds up well for how many things you can spawn. The effect for picking up items looks pretty neat when you have 500 of them swirling around you :D

I havent figured out how any cheats lol I have the console command enabled but has anyone figured out any of the cheats?

I absolutely need to know how to reset the time to keep playing, I cannot put this demo down for the life of me-

figured it out, write "setdayinyear 1" some need to be in caps

Also as I've been testing the cheats and the likes the past few days;

The equivalent of "Creative Mode" can be accessed with
IgnoreResourceCost True
and
UnlockAllResearch

havent figured out the items list yet though.

I spawned 9999 wood logs in multiplayer, saved the game, and then my game crashed so hard it opened up a terrain editor where i could lower/raise height of terrain, and then it crashed too so i didnt get a screenshot of it????

Been having an issue with some commands, I input it and it says it's an "invalid dev command". And then it just- doesn't work. Specifically doing the crown charge cost and resource cost ones.

the commands seem case sensitive, so just start writing like ignore and see the line popup below and either use arrows to go to it and click enter, or write it as its written.
