suggestions to help make things clearer or simpler
Repairing - I think there needs to be a way to locate buildings in need of repair. I've had the notification up for nearly my entire play through and I can't find any damaged buildings.

villagers fighting/taking shelter - again with locating things. I can't find where the villager under attack is and on the off chance i DO see him running, outside of following the general direction of where he's running from, i can't find what attacked him.

outhouses - offer an upgrade or higher capacity or something, i have like 15 outhouses cause they only service 5 at a time.

housing - same issue as outhouses, every other minute requires me to build more housing cause i have more villagers than housing but each only covers 3 people.

deposits - maybe make them more common, larger (for multi building use) or not needed. theres limited spots and you cap on ore/brick income rate very early on.


I think a large chunk of this could be managed with a better, more informational and interactive map. The map could show repairable buildings, villagers under attack sheltering, or idle. the rest could be solved by either uping the service capacity of some buildings, or offering ways to upgrade them.

oh!!! thank you so much! i'll take a look and investigate that tree issue but if you ever run into any more issues please let me know (and also thank everyone for their patience if i ever make any little mistakes with support this is my first time doing a bunch of support stuff so i might mess up sometimes)

i am really, really sorry about that. i really need to slow down a bit - it's definitely my fault for not taking the proper time to understand what i was answering and ask properly. i definitely did not mean to come off as insulting and i am extremely sorry for how that came across by not properly going over the question.

the markers will indicate each zone - when starting out, keeping to one zone is best, but you may find yourself branching out a bit if you have no ore in that zone. if you spread out to another zone, it's good to make sure you at least have some homes and a food ammenity building and outhouse near those work stations!

when in map mode you can also see the radius that a building serves when you click on it, and you can figure out how far out to spread certain buildings in your zones or if homes need to be placed closer to the radius that the NPC who has taken a specific job is working!

i do have one question. is there any way to make floors for my castle? im trying to make walls i can walk on. i was using the archways. but then it doesnt work when you have 4 archways in a square formation. so.... maybe im missing something?

my wife and i play this and absolutely love it so far! you guys are doing a great job, we have looked at the research tree and cannot wait for some more of those things to come in later updates!

arches are sometimes a bit tricky where sometimes they don't get super happy when you try to place things under them. we'll be doing a bit more changes to castleblocks and hopefully also add more floor blocks to solve this! honestly we're super jazzed to see folks have been making castles and we'll be doing a ton more work on this to give it more features and such!

the research tree has also been updated and expanded for this months update that i'll share in a news post later today! <3
