Is it worth it?

Is this game worth $10? Opinions...

I kind of go by the 1 dollar an hour rule of thumb, so far 2 hours in and on the 3rd chapter. I can't say for sure that it's worth it at 10 but it's dang sure not worth it at 30 or whatever the regular price is.

take that for what it's worth I suppose

cool, hope you enjoy it, I had some fun with it but took me 7 hours and that included a lot of screwing off and redoing chapters to get all the statues and emails (still can't find the 3rd damn statue in the first chapter I duno how the hell I'm missing it)

so it falls short of my dollar an hour mark but was fun enough I kind of consider it a wash.

I prefer quality over quantity. you can feel free to waste your money on crap games if you want, to each their own...

The game is awesome! Worth every penny of that $10 in my opinion. And sorry, but i think the 1 dollar an hour rule is stupid. You could justify playing ♥♥♥♥♥ games for the rest of your life by that rule. I sure wouldn't want to waste my time like that.

hur dur, if a game is FUN I will play it MORE thus making it cheaper per hour played....
if it's a '♥♥♥♥♥♥ game' why would I be playing it MORE and not LESS?

plus I don't give a F if you think it's a stupid rule I never said YOU had to abide by it. God I hate stupid people. how about this, I challenge you to look at your game library sorted by time played, look at the games you actually enjoy playing and I bet you will notice a trend. ie that you play the games you enjoyed MORE than the games you felt were a waste of time.

I would say the correct rule of thumb is 5 dollars an hour and maybe 7 dollars an hour (if the game is fantastic) because most 2 hour movies cost 10 dollars (ticket-wise).

At first it was a bit crappy and frustrating, then as I progressed it improved a bit, I did finish it and would like to see some DLC.
Everything is staged, so no real randomness, still enjoyable.
Im just filling in time, finishing games off until Alyx is released :)

I was just peeking in to see how long this game is. I don't think expecting 60 hours of play out of a $60 game is out of the ordinary at all. Unless you're not taking into account replay and talking strictly a one time through the main content.
