"You need four programs (or features) to run the "Puzzle Quest".
1. .NET Framework 3.5
2. OpenAL
3. DirectX
4. DirectPlay
1. .NET Frameworkd 3.5
Windows 7 already installed it default, Win 8+, you need install it.
If you install "Puzzle Quest" and run it, you will see the .NET Framework installation screen. If it does not appear, you can download it from the following link.

If nothing happens when you run the installer, it is already installed.
It can be found in the following path.
Control panel -> Programs and Features -> Turn Windows features on or off -> .NET Frameworkd 3.5
2. OpenAL
Open Puzzle quest installed folder (Steam\steamapps\common\Puzzle Quest\) and run oalinst.exe.
3. DirectX
Open Puzzle quest installed folder and go DXRedist folder (Steam\steamapps\common\Puzzle Quest\DXRedist) and run DXSETUP.exe
4. DirectPlay (IMPORTANT!)
If you have not installed this feature for the first time, the installation screen will not appear next time. Most problems will occur when this feature is turned off.
Go followed path and check that feature. (First, you must have DirectX already installed.)
Control panel -> Programs and Features -> Turn Windows features on or off -> Legacy Components -> DirectPlay
