Stop buying online-only games unless you have an MMO addiction. Then you should REALLY stop buying them.
FF11 has been online for 21 years now and still going. (It's an mmo it'll go down)
Stop acting like that's ok and you should expect it, you're literally just promoting that **** behavior.
There's literally no excuse for this. Just because it's happened before doesn't mean it should continue.
Especially not on steam. This is effectively a scam. Asking for all that money then disappearing without bothering to support what people paid for.
Yes a refund is deserved.
Defend a game taken down? Nice give away hosts in ninja.
Go to hell honestly.
I hope that server code is leaked to the public.
Hum... 21 Years????
He is telling the truth FF11 is 21 years running.
What I find utterly barbaric is blocking me from running the game on my own machine in single player. Why not? Why? It would be fine if you can just run it and host your own game with its own savegame. And play it over LAN with friends. There is no reason other than them not wanting the code out there for this.
It would not cost them a single dollar and still they dont let us play it. I cannot understand.
